Amena 11th May 2020

I remember sitting opposite Bill on a tressle table in the student accommodation when the BSACI conference was in Nottingham, having breakfast with many other Allergists who were also staying there and Bill telling me about Alexander Fleming and discovering Penicillin. My mouth dropped to the floor as he was so casual about the recall and I was in awe of his association. Bill always made time to say hello and came up with such gems of Allergy knowledge and experiences. Another great memory is watching Bill on the dodgems with Shauib Nasser in Telford, not once but twice!! I hope the afterlife treats you with the dignity and respect you deserve. RIP, with fond memories of you Bill Amena Warner Allergy Nurse
