Shenagh 15th April 2020

I first met Dr Frankland in 2015 after I sent an article I was working on for review in the hope he would confirm I was on the right track. Within days he rang me to requested I visit him so that he could give me his feedback. Not only did he confirm I was on the right track he reviewed my article in great detail spending hours mentoring me. He was very interested in all my work, was kind and showed me great respect. He was and continues to be my inspiration for raising awareness of pollen allergy by researching connections between clinical health, environmental science, air pollution, hands-on gardening and planting design. Dr Frankland gave his advice generously and I will always be very grateful. At one particular meeting at the end he told me "you must continue talking about this". Words I will always remember. My thought and prayers go to your family and friends at this sad time. Your legacy will remain forever. Kindest regards Shenagh Hume a
